When the Night Exhales

Sometimes nature gives me a simple reminder to exhale. To breathe out the stress and anxiety of the day, releasing it into the atmosphere.

The mirrored reflections a reminder to let go, and let peace reflect both inward and outward.

  1. Really nice photography to illustrate what your words are saying. The totality made me smile – and remember the rule of systems theory: that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

    1. Thanks Pat. As we are in the midst of adjusting to a move, stress from the transition accumulates during the day. I realised when I was walking around the lake, how my outward appearance did not reflect my inward turmoil. It was a beautiful night to reflect on this, and purposefully exhale.

  2. Amen to that!
