  1. This is why I love blogs. Instant insight into life around the world. At 1.45pm today here in India it was a sunny afternoon. Bright blue skies and a few fluffy clouds. Birds and butterflies flying around the garden.

    1. I agree, Karolyn. It’s nice to have an glimpses from around the world. And when I’m needing a fix of sunshine, I it’s just a click away 🙂 Sounds like a beautiful day in India!

  2. This is beautiful – although it would be terribly hard to live in two months of darkness and this beautiful sky foretells the darkness.

    1. The two months go by quite quickly, but we are tired. We use a sun lamp at the breakfast and dinner table to get some UV light 🙂 But the color displays are beautiful during this season and the beautiful deep blue that fills the skies on the darkest days is magical.

    1. This time of year in the North Cape we have amazing color displays, especially after the polar night season begins and the sun casts its light from below the horizon.

  3. I can’t imagine living in a place where the sun “disappears” as it does…how strange…and what a beautiful display it has arranged for you. Wonderful photo, Erica. 🙂

      1. You’re welcome…and how nice for you that you’ve become so accustomed to it over these many years that you can look forward to it. 🙂

    1. We can be very tired, kind of like Extreme jetlag… but getting out for walks during the daytime helps, along With vitamin D, the sun lamp and all the cozy activities that are planned during December.
