When it Rains it Pours – Celebrating with a Give-Away

Well, isn’t that life?  When it rains it pours, and thankfully, at this particular time in life it’s in the positive sense of the expression.  In the past few months, many of my dreams have been coming to fruition.  I opened my very own gallery and gift shop, Once Upon a Dream, on May 13 (check out some before and after pictures here).  It really is a dream come true and a thrill to be so well-received by locals and tourists alike.

At the same time, I was given the opportunity to write an English column in the local Norwegian newspaper, focussed on providing information to tourists during the summer season.  A wonderful and surprising outcome from writing Experience North Cape.

And in addition to the gallery and the newspaper column, I’ve published a book:  A North Cape Winter:  71 Degrees North of the Equator.
