Want to See Our Town By the Sea? Borealis Livecam Honningsvag 360

A Borealis Livecam has recently been set up in Honningsvåg, just down the street from the gallery.  It provides a great view of this charming town by the sea.  Here’s the link:

  1. It’s a lovely day in Honningsvag today. If you wish, I can send you a link to the traffic camera on the motorway at the end of my street.(not really the same though).

  2. Your webcams are amazing! I like them very much. But since a few days the webcam on the NorthKapp is broken. Piitty! Maby they can fixed it.

    1. I hope it’s working today.. then you can see a storm… lots of rain, wind and clouds. And if you happen to look at it at midnight Norwegian time, you can see the midnight sun. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment.

    1. How nice. Please drop by my gallery, Once Upon a Dream. It’s located at Sjøgata 20, across the street from the three boat houses along the harbor. It would be nice to talk to you. Welcome to Honningsvåg!

  4. What a great webcam! Thanks for posting it. I feel like I’m there! Would love to see the town in the winter. The snow looks beautiful. Unfortunately we’re not having much snow here in Maryland again this year.

  5. Thinking about visiting with my husband and 3 adult children next summer as my father was from Nordkapp, and I have only visited once as a child. What is the best place to stay and best value? Do people rent their homes? Does the cruise ship stop nearby? I’d like to cruise the fjords for part of our visit.

    1. Hi Esther. How exciting. That would be a wonderful trip – coming back to your Norwegian roots. Here is a link with info about the area, as well as accomodations http://www.nordkapp.no/en/stay. I haven’t heard about anyone renting out their houses, but if I do, I’ll let you know. As for taking a cruise from the port here, the Hurtigruta docks each day and you’d be able to continue on your journey from here. http://www.hurtigruten.us/?country=US
