Beautiful pictures, especially the middle one. The composition is great with the bust on the rock in the foreground and a Hurtigruten ship in port. Who is the bust of?
Thanks Karen. The bust is of Knut Erik Jensen. He’s an award-winning filmmaker who comes from Honningsvaag… 72 years old and currently working on a new film based on the history of Mageroeya.
I love the bottom picture! You could have it framed! Nice to have more of an idea of what Honningsvåg looks like.
Thanks Mari. Hope you get to see it in person this year
Nice to see Honningsvåg from above. And please let’s change shift the weather. I would like to have some sun. I bet I saw the sun less this winter, as you did.
We’ve had some great sunny days since the sun came back a month ago. Sending you some warm thoughts and hopefully some sunshine your way
Love the views of the mountains and Honningsvag. Brings back memories of our hike “around the mountain”…just looks a bit colder!
Now you’d need skis or snow shoes
All of that snow in Honningsvåg looks very pretty!
Very pretty and very bright now that the sun’s back.
Beautiful is the only word that came into my mind… wish to see it someday!
Hope you get to see it in person one day as well. It’s a lovely place.
Wow, just simply–wow!
